Dear Grade 4 students,
For most of you students, this will be my second time teaching you, as I was on the Grade 2 team when you all were second graders! I’m very excited to see you all again and spend another school year with you! To those of you who were new last year, or are new this year, welcome! We are going to have so much fun!
I am so lucky, because as the ESL teacher I have the opportunity to get to know each and every one of you! You may know that I teach ESL, but did you know that I also co-teach with your classroom teachers? So, I will be teaching all of you, every week! Now, there are over 100 fourth grade students, and I remember most of your names from Grade 2, but it might take me some time to remember ALL of your names, all the time. Be patient with me, and feel free to help me out! All of us here in Grade 4 are here to help and learn from one another!
Let’s make this a fantastic year!
All the best,
Ms. Hines
